Delete your account & data

Last updated: 19 June 2026

You can delete your ParentRecall account and everything in it at any time. This page explains how to do it yourself in the app, how to request it if you can’t sign in, and exactly what gets removed.

Delete it yourself (fastest)

  1. Open ParentRecall and sign in.
  2. Tap the gear icon (top right) to open Account.
  3. Tap Delete this account and confirm.

Account deletion is carried out by the account admin (the primary email). It permanently removes the whole household, including any partner’s access. If you’re a partner (associate) and only want to remove yourself, use Account → Leave this account instead.

Or ask us to delete it

If you can’t access the app, email us from the address on your account and we’ll delete it for you:

Please send your request from the email address registered to the account so we can verify it’s you. We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes, from our live systems:

Residual copies may remain in routine encrypted backups for a short period before being overwritten. We keep a minimal deletion record — your account email and the dates it was created, last accessed and deleted — for security and to evidence that the deletion happened. It holds no other personal information and is never used to rebuild your lists. See our Privacy Policy for detail.

Delete some data without closing your account

You don’t have to delete everything. Inside the app you can remove an individual person, a club, or a child at any time, and those entries are deleted immediately. You can also export a copy of your data first from Account → Export my data.
