Contacting us
For anything at all — a question, a problem, a feature idea, a privacy request, or to report something — use the form below or email [email protected]. To help us help you quickly, please tell us the email address on your account and, if something isn’t working, the device and browser you’re using and what you expected to happen.
Common questions
This section covers the essentials. For the full list — subscriptions, adding people, Memory Practice, your account and privacy — see our FAQ page.
How much does ParentRecall cost?
New accounts start with a 7-day free trial. After the trial, ParentRecall is £2.99 per month or £29.99 per year (the yearly plan works out cheaper). Prices are shown in your local currency where we support it — for example $3.99 / €3.49 / CA$5.99 / A$5.99 / NZ$6.49 a month — and the exact price is always shown before you pay. One subscription covers your whole household — you and up to two other people. You can cancel at any time from Account → Subscription & billing.
How does the free trial work?
Your 7-day free trial starts as soon as you create your account, and no card or payment details are needed to use it. If you’d like to keep using ParentRecall after the trial, you subscribe to a plan and enter payment details then. If you subscribe while you still have trial days left, you’re not charged until those days are used up. Payments are handled securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
What happens if I cancel or my trial ends?
Your data is never deleted for non-payment. If a subscription lapses, your account becomes read-only — you can still sign in, view your lists and export everything — but adding, editing and Memory Practice are paused until you subscribe again.
I’ve forgotten my password.
On the sign-in screen, choose Forgot password and enter your email. We’ll send a reset link that’s valid for one hour. For your security, the link can only be used once.
How do I install the app on my phone?
ParentRecall is a web app, so there’s nothing to download from an app store to get started. Open parentrecall.com in your phone’s browser and choose Add to Home Screen (Safari on iPhone) or Install app (Chrome on Android).
How do I add my partner?
The account admin can invite a partner by email from the account menu. You’ll then share the same private lists, so you’re both covered.
Why was I signed out when I signed in on another device?
For security, ParentRecall only keeps you signed in on one device at a time. Signing in somewhere new automatically signs out wherever you were signed in before.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. From your account, Export my data downloads your lists as a spreadsheet (CSV) at any time. It opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets, and uses the same columns as the import template, so you can edit it and bring it back in.
Your account
You can update your details, invite or remove a partner, export your data, and delete your account from the account menu inside the app. Deleting your account is permanent and removes your data — you can also do this at parentrecall.com/delete-account.
Privacy & your data
Your lists are private to your household and any partner you invite. There are no public profiles, no social feed, and no photographs of children — faces are friendly cartoon avatars only. To understand exactly what we store and why, see our Privacy Policy. To make a data access, correction or deletion request, email [email protected].
Reporting a problem or abuse
If something looks wrong or is being misused, please tell us. You can report abuse from inside the app using the Report abuse option, or email [email protected]. For anything involving the safety of a child, please see our Child Safety Standards, which explain how to report a concern and how we respond.
Legal & policies
Our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy set out the rules for using ParentRecall and how we handle information.
