Why we built this
ParentRecall started at the school gate: being greeted warmly by someone whose name had simply gone, and feeling that small, familiar panic. Not a failure of attention — just a normal limit of memory, in an environment that demands more of it than it can give. So we built the tool we wished existed: somewhere private to keep track of the people in a child's life — classmates, parents, coaches, teachers — without asking anyone to photograph another family's child to do it.
What we believe
- ✓Remembering people is normal to want help with — not a personal failing.
- ✓Every child's privacy matters, including children who aren't yours.
- ✓Software should be honest about what it collects, with full control to export or delete it.
